These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://mokkomcoffee.com, including all related information, content, features, products, services, and purchases made through the website (collectively, the "Services").
By visiting the website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated by reference below. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Customer Responsibilities
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services or place an order.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account, billing, shipping, and contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities carried out through your account.
You may not use the Services or our products for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
3. Sales Territory
The website currently accepts orders for delivery only to eligible addresses in the United States. Availability may vary by state, territory, product, payment method, or delivery location shown at checkout.
We may change the available sales or delivery territory in the future. Any change will apply only when it is displayed on the website or at checkout.
4. Product Information
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible. Product colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen, lighting, production batch, or other factors.
Product specifications, packaging, included accessories, availability, and pricing may change from time to time. Any material change affecting an accepted order will be handled in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
Coffee equipment must be used only with the voltage, plug type, operating instructions, maintenance requirements, and intended use stated for the applicable product. Use with an incompatible voltage or unauthorized modification may cause damage and may affect warranty coverage.
5. Prices, Shipping Charges, Taxes, and Duties
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless the website or checkout states otherwise.
At the time these Terms take effect, eligible U.S. orders with a merchandise subtotal of US$100 or more qualify for free standard shipping. Orders with a merchandise subtotal below US$100 are subject to the shipping charge displayed at checkout. Taxes, discounts, returns, and excluded products may affect the qualifying subtotal.
Customers are responsible for applicable sales taxes, use taxes, import charges, customs duties, and other government assessments. Where required, applicable taxes may be calculated and collected at checkout. Any amount not collected by us remains the customer's responsibility.
We may correct pricing, shipping-charge, or product-information errors before accepting an order. If an error affects an order already submitted, we will contact the customer and, where required, offer the option to confirm the corrected order or receive a cancellation and refund.
6. Payments and Fraud Prevention
Payment must be made using a payment method offered at checkout. Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers, including Airwallex, PayPal, card networks, banks, and providers made available through Shopify.
Use of a payment method may also be subject to the terms and privacy notice of the relevant payment provider. We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every customer, device, currency, or location.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted for an order. We may verify an order or payment and may temporarily hold, pause, refuse, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, unauthorized activity, sanctions, legal requirements, or payment risk.
If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.
7. Orders, Acceptance, and Cancellation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is not finally accepted until we issue an order confirmation and the payment has been successfully authorized or captured, as applicable.
We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including product unavailability, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, payment failure, shipping restrictions, sanctions, or legal requirements.
A customer may request an order cancellation within 48 hours after placing the order, provided the order has not been shipped or handed to the carrier. A cancellation request is not effective until confirmed by MOKKOM. Once an order has shipped, it must be handled under the applicable Return Policy.
To request a cancellation or address correction, contact mokkomservice@gmail.com as soon as possible and include the order number.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping availability, processing times, delivery estimates, charges, tracking, address-change rules, and package-claim procedures are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays may occur because of carriers, customs, weather, peak periods, incorrect customer information, government action, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss and title pass in accordance with applicable law and the delivery terms shown for the order. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Returns, eligibility conditions, defective-product claims, inspection, refund timing, and exchanges are governed by our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
For a return that is not caused by a verified product defect, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
A grinder that has been used to grind coffee may be returned only after prior written discussion and approval by MOKKOM. Approval may depend on the product's condition, completeness, hygiene, coffee residue, burr wear, packaging, accessories, and the reason for return. Any applicable deduction or condition will be communicated before the return is authorized, subject to mandatory consumer law.
Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method. Processing and posting times may depend on the payment provider or issuing bank.
10. Warranty
Applicable product warranty coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and remedies are described in our Warranty Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The warranty is in addition to any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions, bundles, gifts, and discount codes may be subject to separate eligibility rules, start and end dates, product restrictions, quantity limits, and other conditions disclosed with the offer.
Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied retroactively. We may cancel or correct a promotion affected by error, misuse, or fraud, subject to applicable law.
12. Reviews, Feedback, and User Content
If you submit reviews, comments, photographs, videos, suggestions, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of another person.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and use that content in connection with the Services and our business, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws.
We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, infringing, or unrelated. We do not require customers to waive the right to provide honest reviews or criticism.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a violation, security risk, fraud, or legal obligation.

17. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from every security risk.
Product results may vary based on coffee beans, grind setting, calibration, brewing equipment, maintenance, technique, environment, and other factors. Nothing on the website guarantees a particular extraction result, taste, or professional outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MOKKOM and its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the Services or products.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim, unless a greater remedy is required by applicable law.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer-protection obligations.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable consumer law gives a customer the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction or requires a different dispute process.
Before commencing formal proceedings, the customer and MOKKOM agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by providing reasonable details of the issue and requested resolution.
20. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government action, customs delays, carrier disruption, labor disputes, utility failures, telecommunications failures, or supply-chain interruption.
This section does not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, business practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date.
Changes apply prospectively from the effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
22. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with the policies and terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between the customer and MOKKOM regarding the Services and purchases.
